Che Ming is a Speech and Language Therapist with a specialism in neurorehabilitation. Highly experienced with working with people with a broad range of complex communication and swallow presentations, Che Ming has a sound understanding of the cognitive, emotional and behavioural consequences that a neurological event can bring. She is fully competent in tracheostomy management for swallow, communication and is able to contribute to the weaning process. Trained in the application of SMART, Che Ming is also skilled in working with people with disorders of consciousness and can provide oro-facial stimulation and desensitisation programmes to promote natural movement for communication and swallowing.
