Eleanor Clarke

Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist - Neurology
BSc(Hons) Physiotherapy

Since qualifying in Physiotherapy at Sheffield University (1998), Eleanor has worked extensively in neurology, acquired brain injury and vestibular rehabilitation – both in the NHS and working in independent practice from 2001. Eleanor has a specialist interest in mild traumatic brain injury, complex vestibular and balance problems, and post-concussion syndrome.

Eleanor has worked in catastrophic injury case management services since 2016 and completed medicolegal reports for the last three years.  Both of these roles have enhanced and deepened her knowledge base, her clinical reasoning skills and her ability to see the wide-reaching effects of injuries. From the integration of those roles, Eleanor has become a more effective clinician.

Eleanor loves working in her chosen field and being an advocate for clients, improving and enhancing quality of life in all areas of it; working equally in an interdisciplinary team or as a sole practitioner as directed by patient centred care.
