Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy aims to empower individuals with neurological conditions to participate in life to the fullest extent possible, by treating the physical, cognitive and social challenges they face.
Understanding Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapists conduct thorough assessments to understand a person’s specific needs, strengths, and limitations related to their neurological condition. This assessment may include evaluating cognitive functions (like memory, attention, and problem-solving), motor skills, sensory processing, and the ability to perform daily tasks.
Our approach
Arbor deliver relevant, timely, goal orientated rehabilitation programmes to clients in their own homes and communities. The emphasis is on client-centred care and collaboration working closely with individuals, their families and other professionals (case managers, therapists and support workers) to develop personalised treatment plans and achieve meaningful goals.
