Dr Sarah Whitson is a Clinical Psychologist who specialises in Neuropsychology. She brings skills in cognitive assessment, goal-focussed rehabilitation and psychological therapy for clients with acquired brain injury, stroke and neurological conditions.

Sarah works collaboratively with each person to develop an understanding of their difficulties, identify meaningful goals and promote psychological wellbeing. In addition to skills in neuropsychology, Sarah has a background in working therapeutically with adults with acute mental health difficulties, and adults with learning disabilities.

In therapy she draws on a range of models including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy and EMDR, to help people work towards their goals and improve their emotional wellbeing. Sarah is motivated to deliver person centred therapy, utilising evidence-based rehabilitation strategies to achieve the best possible outcome and quality of life for clients.
