He completed a Doctorate in Clinical Neuropsychology at Monash University in 2020 and has worked across Australia and the UK in both hospital and community settings. He has supported individuals living with a range of acquired brain injuries including traumatic brain injury, concussion, spinal cord injury and stroke.
David’s approach is collaborative, compassionate, and evidence-based, with a focus on an individual’s goals and priorities. Drawing on both clinical expertise and lived experience, he recognises that recovery is an evolving and complex process. Navigating these challenges is often not just about cognitive rehabilitation, but also finding acceptance, identity, and a renewed sense of purpose.
His clinical work also spans comprehensive neuropsychological assessment to inform rehabilitation planning, functional capacity to return to work or study, and decision-making capacity, as well as diagnostic assessment for conditions such as dementia, mild cognitive impairment, learning disorders, and intellectual disability.
