Joanna can offer advice and support on aids and adaptations around a client’s home as well as cognitive rehabilitation therapy to help clients live their life their way. As well as working with Arbor, Joanna is also a case manager, providing her with an excellent insight into client’s needs.
Joanna has experience working with a range of conditions such as traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s disease, MS and stroke. She provides support around returning to functional tasks, enjoyable activities and work with a focus on pacing. Joanna has experience supporting people to manage pain, fatigue and general deconditioning post illness or injury, with a client-centred and holistic approach
Joanna Harrison qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 2007 from St Martin’s College in Lancaster and has experience working both in the NHS and private sector in general rehabilitation, orthopaedics and neurological rehabilitation.
