In her current NHS role, Amy supports individuals who have experienced a stroke. She works closely with patients, their families, and carers, as well as with multidisciplinary teams. Amy also delivers training, teaching, and consultation to other professionals involved in patient care.

Her role includes conducting neuropsychological assessments, developing formulations, and providing interventions. This involves therapeutic work to support mood and adjustment, cognitive rehabilitation, and both multidisciplinary and family systemic approaches. Amy has completed foundation-level AFT accreditation, equipping her with the skills to work effectively from a systemic perspective.

Amy is dedicated to delivering compassionate person-centred care, working collaboratively with individuals with brain injury to help them achieve their goals.

She completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2023 and is currently completing the entry requirements for the Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists.
